What is the difference? Chevy 350 vs Olds 350

  Does anyone know the difference between a Chevy 350 and a Oldsmobile 350? I heard the stroke is longer on the Oldsmobile which is suppose to add a little bit for power but not sure if that is true and not sure how a longer stroke would be beneficial. Anyone?
