Mac OS X AntiVirus Software

My personal feeling is that my Macbook Pro doesn't require AntiVirus software at this point (seeing how Mac is only 10% of the market).  However, some VPN portals require an AntiVirus software to be running regardless if you need it or not.

I personally installed Norton and its really because that is what the SSL VPN was scanning the Mac's for was a copy of Norton, otherwise I wouldn't have chose it.

Now I am looking for a way to get rid of all the files associated with Norton.  It is a hog and takes up space and the file scans take all day.
