As distasteful as many of us find it, the courts have consistently ruled that burning the American flag is a constitutionally protected act of free speech, not defined as a hate crime. Now we are told burning the Quran is a hate crime and will be investigated accordingly?
While I agree with neither act, I am stunned by the logic or, rather, the lack of it. It is that very kind of thinking that illustrates the stupidity of our overly political correct society.

As long as we say one thing is fair for one race, sex or nationality is not fair for the other then a line in the sand has been drawn.
This is why we will ALWAYS have racism. As long as a Negro College Fund exists only for the African American race. As long as we support specialized groups that focus on racism we will be one country divided by our racism.
Europe is leaps and bounds in front of us. Racism isn't shown at all as everyone is treated equally. Color is looked as another feature like eye or hair color.
Now we have a new division in America and its what is okay for some and not others. Again, a Free Country that isn't really free at all if you look at the fine print.
