Don't Know What Charity Is Helpful

Having given to charities over the years, I have been swamped with request and phone calls for money, time and things.
I have made it a habit to NOT give donations over the phone. [California is the champion in scams aimed at seniors].
The following site is very helpful in weeding out the charities that are in it to fill their own pockets. My link
I especially watch out for officers of the charities and their salaries. If the charity does not provide at least 85% of their revenue to projects they are excluded from further consideration.
