MyWiseGuys.com was down due to issues at hostmonster which caused an outage of almost 2hours this morning. This makes me nervous about relying on running an application on a shared hosting site.
I'm beginning at looking at hosting site locally using another domain we own called mywiseguys.net and run the applications off that instead.
This would involve running Linux (more than likely Ubuntu), having SSH loaded for access with keys as authentication. I could possibly backup mywiseguys.com to mywiseguys.net and run it that way.
