I spent the morning in the Waterford, Michigan Memorial Day parade in my dad's 40 chevy representing veterans in from the Elks club. I met some great people to include Russ (serious car guy), Charlie, Don, Jim, and Shane. Some great guys from the Elks that made it fun being in the parade. I will attach some pictures as soon as I get them.
Then I went for some great food at Pam's house where my son Zackary was having a blast getting wet in the water with his cousins.

QuoteMemorial Day is observed on the last Monday of May. It was formally known as Decoration Day and commemorates all men and women, who have died in military service for the United States. Many people visit cemeteries and memorials on Memorial Day and it is traditionally seen as the start of the summer season.
