When it comes to large uploads from your machine to your website the vBulletin Downloads module handles large files with no problems unlike the IP.Downloads application which runs into issues early on but they do have a work around which is ftp the file(s) to your site then load them from there but your typical user doesn't have this type of access.
So this is my calling IP.Downloads out to meet or beat what vBulletin can provide. Hint: I believe it's in the Flash Upload program it uses.
